Brendan Zimmerli began producing music as Zephyr on Christmas of 2012 after receiving a new laptop as a present. He wasted no time in getting out his debut EP "Lighthouses", which was released on December 31, 2012. By January of 2013, he kicked off production on his debut album "The Dawn", and began releasing various singles. However, after a receiving a scratching review from a user on SoundCloud on one of his early remixes, he decided to completely scrap the material he had already had completed for his album and decided to reinvent his sound. Starting back at square one, Zephyr worked hard throughout the year to reinvent his sound. On March 19, 2013, Zephyr released his first single with his new sound called "Oblivion", serving as the lead single from "The Dawn". After releasing two more singles, finally on July 11, 2013, his debut album "The Dawn" was released. Not long after the release of The Dawn, Zephyr already began work on new music, releasing the single "Synethesia" in August and production on his next album "Houses Beyond a Lighthouse" began. During this production cycle, Zephyr also released two new EP's: "Soul Of The Universe" on Christmas eve of 2013 and "Internet Connectivity" on March 6, 2014. On July 22, 2014, Zephyr released his sophomore effort "Houses Beyond a Lighthouse". Not long after that, Zephyr began work on his third album "Hearing Colors, Seeing Sounds". During this production cycle, Zephyr released two new singles "Vertigo" and "Staccato" on February 8, 2015. After months of work and adding more influences of other genres to his sound, Zephyr released his third and latest album "Hearing Colors, Seeing Sounds" on July 24, 2015. He currently hard at work on his upcoming fourth album, set for release in August.
